CHAMPIONSHIPS
The Platinum Division showcased top 50+ talent featuring a rematch between the Yanks and the 2025 Champion Englewood Jacks Platinum. The Yanks depth proved to be the difference against a very talented Englewood Jacks team. Congrats to Yanks for regaining their title as Silver Summit Champions.
The Gold Division also featured a rematch from 2025 between the Englewood Jacks Gold battled the Baltimore Clippers. Being outshot 16 to 5 after two periods, the game was still tight with Englewood up by only 2 goals. Even though the Clippers mounted a strong push in the 3rd outshooting Englewood 2:1, it was not enough. Englewood Jacks defending their title as the Silver Summit Gold Champions
The Silver Division showcased the returning 2025 Champion Discount Maroons defending their title vs Englewood Jacks Silver. The Maroons and Jacks Silver who ended the round-robin with the same number of pts and goal differential continued to show how closely matched they are in the Championship game. It took OT to declare a champion. In the end it was Jacks Silver claiming victory as the new Silver Champions.
The Bronze Division finals teams - Whalers and Damaged Goods - tied in the round-robin round setting the stage for a nail-biter in the championship game. Damaged Goods - dealing with a short bench - was unable to duplicate their round-robin performance against the the persistent play and high volume of shots generated by the Whalers. Congrats to the Silver Champion Whalers.
Congrats to all winners and well done to all runner-ups.
